This art of all arts
Mysterious, beautifully made
This ink, borne in marts
For free, and faints unheard
This poetry in chunks
Of rhymes, of verses unread,
Of troubles and dreams mosaics
Drawn in history and on canvas laid,
Chiaroscuroed in quivering wanting shades,
This art brings fears, of the drowning lead,
And sings my eyes to tears that today
for yesterday’s pain untold, wilt be odd.
Joys so swift perish, hopes die unmade
Though all did flourish in minds of pens
Whose bliss is re-membering, crafting
Crafting what fades unread.
