Shimbo Pastory
This poem was published by Kalahari Review on 28th January, 2020
Stomping, now fast
The wiry feet, deep in desert sand
Crave for strength to first will.
Rambling, resolute heart
Rules instinct’s wit, littering vices on land
Waiting for death, the last toil.
Rising at last
Morn life light, with its magical wand
Strips waning depth of past soil.
